Get to know more of myself

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are not looking merely for a girl/boyfriend - you are looking for your life partner. Perhaps you should be more open-minded about who you spend time with. The person you are looking for might hide their charm under their exterior.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:
You have many goals and want to achieve as much as you can. The jobs you enjoy are those that let you burn off your considerable excess energy.

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Cheap finds yet with class for sophisticated shoppers, there are also a lot of items on sale just right for gifts to your friends, boyfriends or officemates – just be picky enough to know which one is classy and which one is cheap.

NOTE!

NOTE:

I promise to finish the Diamond Castles this year! :) I'm gathering more inspiration and motivation to really get a grasp of what I really wanted to happen in the story. :) Thank you!-PTC

So long and goodbye

So long sembreak, its hard to say goodbye but I have to.

Gotta face the second semester with a smile, hope and determination.

So long medium-length hair and hello shorty again!

Its been almost a month since I experienced the word "BREAK", "RELAXATION" and "STRESS-FREE".

Its nice that I was able to wake up around 11 in the morning or the latest 1 in the aftie without thinking about anything to do but to go to sleep again, read book, go online on FB, twitter and youtube. This is what a student like me call L-I-F-E!

**
Well my sembreak started with attending Inkblots, a 3-day Campus Journalism seminar from October 16-18, 2010 held in the University of Santo Tomas Thomas Aquinas Research Center. This seminar was made possible by the Varsitarian (the UST student publication), me together with some of my blockmates namely Rome, Ankrish, Marian P., Bea, Erika, Anne and Mona had a great time and learned a lot from the speakers and the topics that were tackled. Plus, we got a chance to meet some of the big-men in the Journalism world and some artists like Sid Lucero and Chris Tiu.

After that day, my sembreak went well. A date with my boyfiee, spent time with my family, friends and girlfriends but most of all the praying and worrying nights till we saw our grades which turned out as fine.

Despite the happy moments there are also sad times...

First, I wasn't able to visit the Chamber of Horror in Eastwood. Secondly, I was bummed and broke most of the days (no allowance, meeeeen!). And lastly, the most depressing of all was I wasn't able to come to the Canon Photomarathon last November 6; I don't want to blame my mom for this ('eff those terrorist! I'll kill y'all!).

Furthermore, I spent my break doing nothing but watching flicks. I ransacked our DVD storage and downloaded some movies from uTorrent. Here are some of the movies that I watched during the sembreak.

LOVELY BONES - originally from the a novel written by Alice Sebold.

JEEPERS CREEPER 1 - This effin' scared me when I watched it with my sister and her boyfiee. I left the lights on when I'm about to sleep. Hee :)

50 FIRST DATES - this one is the best. Its kinda old flick, but yeah its really good! You'll wish to have an Adam Sandler in you life :) TRUE LOVE will really kill me!

CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN - Lindsay Lohan rocked on this, as she always does in her films :) I just love the way she dresses, very "new york-er"! :)

AMERICA'S SWEETHEART - who haven't fell in love with this film? I badly did! :)

SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD - Watch this guys, this is really good! :) Funny, weird, and virtually coooool! You'll also love the character of Ramona Flowers here (and her hair color!)

So this is the end of my enjoying and at the same time bummed sembreak! But yeah, I had fun - I should be 'coz I should savor every minute of my breaks this year because in summer 2010 it's OJT baybeh!

Goodbye sembreak 2010, even I wasn't able to accomplish all the things that I wanted to do. I'm still thankful for the time of rest, relaxation and stress-free! :) I must kiss you goodbye and be ready to face the semester ahead of me. I can do this! :)

Christmas break is soon to come! Save a date? :)-PTC

Diamond castles

CHAPTER 1

Every night I would go to bed thinking of the memories I had with my father. I was only 7 years old then when he left us, he left us without saying goodbye, he left me without giving me a warm hug and sweet kiss on the forehead, he left everything - his dreams, success, love and the apple of his eye.

I always remember him as a  jolly person, he never fails to make us smile. He would always tell me that I'm his only princess and he's my prince, like any father would say to their only daughters. But they are all lies. A prince must never leave his princess all alone in darkness and sadness, he must make her feel safe.

Before he left, I remembered he handed me a typical music box with a diamond castle inside; he told a special place for me far from the city. Down in the deepest and darkest forest, outskirts the tall buildings, car horns, child's whines and boss' rants and demands. There I would find a castle made of diamonds and crystals just for me and I will find him there waiting for me. Again, they are all lies.

I don't hate him. I just can't imagine that he left too soon.

Now, I'm a young lady. I'll be graduating from college in  months. But the pain is still there. The search never ends, even if my mom asks me to stop this craze of searching for the stupid and non-existence diamond castle in the deepest part of a forest. Like hell, there aren't forests in our place! But I still believe that one day, one day I'll be able to end and land in that dreamy diamond castle he promised for me.

"Honey, wake up c'mon!" I heard a voice on my right ear but I want to pretend that I don't hear anything.

"Hmmmmmmm... 5 more minutes I'm always there, please?" keeping my eyes closed and covered my ears with a pillow.

"Stop dreaming dear, you'll never get to that place. It doesn't exist, it will never exist,"

"Aaagh! How could you!? I'm always there, right? He promised me, it was there,"

"Hey young lady, don't talk to me like that! Just accept it, those are just children's fantasy that should be gone soon for good!"

"Ugh! Whatever you say, I'll find it one day. You'll see," and off I go out of my bed down to the breakfast table to eat my all-time favorite breakfast - eggs with french toast and milk.

I sat there for 45 minutes. Day dreaming. Why do I have to wake up this early? I'll be facing my professors again, another day of discussion, activity, home works and projects to be taken. O well, in few months time I'll be free! I'll get out of this, soon. I promise.

The bell rang, she run as fast as she could up to the 5th floor ('coz the elevators already full when she arrived) praying that their professor would come in late on the first day. "Of course, she will. I know her," she said at the back of her mind.

At last, one floor to go and luckily she bumped into one of her former professors who was carrying a handbag and some books on her hand. She didn't notice that it was her professor, she just picked up the book that her professor slipped on the floor and went on her way to the 5th floor.

"Room 5A... Room 5B... Room 5D, there you are!" she said with a relief.

Upon entering the room, she wore a smile on her face. she recognize some of her classmates that used to be her classmates in other classes but most of them were new and unknown faces she never saw before.-PTC

Cry and laugh but you will always LOVE

This blog addressed to Mr. Jorge Patrick Danal

I'm his girl and I know that he is mine.

Quoted from my friend, Kim Arsenio via her text message: "NO MEN, NO PAIN. KNOW MEN, KNOW PAIN."

Last night when I was talking with him. Because for two straight days we are quarreling 'coz of our personal issues with each other like he feels that I don't care about him anymore, he misses me as being childish, I always choose my friends over him and so on. As for me, he's being arrogant all the time, he doesn't know how to listen, when to shut up when I'm talking to him.

Through out our conversation, I want to punch him, I want to punch on something or grab something hard and throw it right into his face 'coz I was freakin' angry at him. He also made me choose to whether work things out or leave him for good.

I was shouting, crying, trying to control myself and lowering my voice 'coz I don't want my mom to hear me and ask me of such things after. I badly want to end up that day, go to sleep, dream and wake up forgetting everything that happened during that night but I can't - I shouldn't, I must face him.

I let him rant all the things that he wanted to tell me, I listened to him. I tend to stay quiet and restrain myself from giving out any comments until he is finished. And as soon as he is done with everything I told him, "why do you choose to stay?" When you're saying that I don't appreciate the things that you are doing for me, for us. Why do you choose to stay with me whereas I'm pretty sure there are lots of girls out there who is more appreciative and caring than me.  And BANG! A moment of silence, no one's speaking. Then suddenly he answered' "shit naman oh! hindi kasi kita maiwan,"

The night ended up with laughters, sweetness and asking him to buy me Jawbreakers (our all-time favorite).

I admit it, I'm a bitch to him, outspoken, stubborn and ma-pride all the time. In the 4 years and countless months of having him by my side I can say that we've been through a lot of fights and quarrels and this is just one of those. And I'm glad that through it all, we were able to surpass every bit.

"I can be his source of laughter and happiness. His reason to smile every single day that I am with him.

I can also be the reason for his tears and sadness.

But most of all,

I am his only reason that he is full of love."

I'm Pamela Cabrera and he is Jorge Patrick Danal. I know that he is mine and I'm proud and happy to say that I am his girl.

No editing - THEOUTTAKES

Rainy evening, cold feeling makes a person feel bored and lousy. But that doesn't work for me! So here I am sitting in front of my laptop jotting down my first blog again (I just hope that I'll can keep up with this every day).

I missed blogging. For a very long time I stopped writing blogs, I even stopped writing on my journal. Don't ask me why 'coz I'll be giving you the same reason - I became BUSY with a lot of things in my life (you know what I'm talking about). But that is not an excuse. I know that it must be maintained (one blog per day or 3 blogs a week will do). As my professor/s tells us that writing on a journal or blogging helps our writing skills enhanced and it's a good practice too.

'nuff said, I made my own blog site for my write ups and photos captured significantly for the readers. It was entitled theouttakes which means in the field of films they are known as the "bloopers" or the portion in a director's work that are removed in the editing process and will not be included in the final product (according to Wikipedia.org).

Contrary to this, bloopers, candids and unwanted scenes makes a man's moment in life noteworthy. It shows the real action, the true scenario of a certain event. theouttakes shows the unedited clips of life, good or bad, making mistakes or getting things right, laughter or tears, and victory or defeats.

No edits will be done in this blogs. Only the true pictures and stories happening out and about.
